Privacy policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

We designed this website to collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what is collected, by whom, and your rights.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of SpermFreezing.com, an individual based in the European Union. Contact: hello@spermfreezing.com.

What we collect

  • No cookies, no local storage. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner: none is required for a site that uses only technically necessary processing. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.
  • Cookieless analytics. We may use a privacy-focused analytics service (GoatCounter) that counts page views without cookies or persistent identifiers. It processes the page URL, referrer, browser type, screen size and country derived from a truncated IP address. No profile is built about you.
  • Hosting. The site runs on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, a German hosting company. The server software may record technical request logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept only briefly and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
  • Email. If you email us, we keep your message for as long as needed to answer it and keep a record of corrections.
  • Purchases. If you buy our Planner, the payment provider named at checkout processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details to deliver the product.

Legal basis

We process the minimal data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing a website and understanding which pages are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and to perform a contract when you buy something (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Third-party links

Links to clinics, sperm banks, kit vendors, Amazon and other websites lead to services with their own privacy policies. Affiliate links: when you click a link to a partner, the address contains a partner identifier so that the merchant can attribute a purchase to this site and pay a commission. The merchant may then set cookies on its own domain under its own privacy policy. We never receive your personal data from the merchant, only aggregate commission reports. We do not use redirect links that log your clicks.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to processing, and complain to your national data protection authority. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. The supervisory authority for the publisher is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, posta@uoou.gov.cz).

Retention

Analytics data is aggregated and kept indefinitely in anonymous form. Emails are kept for up to 12 months after the last exchange, longer only where a correction record is needed. Order records are kept as long as the merchant of record and tax law require.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
