An independent guide to one decision
SpermFreezing.com exists to answer one question well: should you freeze your sperm, and if so, how, where and for how much? We are not a clinic, a sperm bank or a kit company.
Why this site exists
Most information about sperm freezing is published by the people selling it. Clinics quote an initial fee and bury the storage charges; kit companies compare themselves favourably with clinics; general health sites give one paragraph and move on. Meanwhile the people who need to decide quickly, often before chemotherapy, a vasectomy or hormone therapy, have to piece it together themselves. We built this site to put the facts, the prices and the trade-offs in one place, for readers anywhere in the world.
Editorial policy
- Sources first. Every medical claim is traced to regulator guidance (such as the UK's HFEA, the ASRM and ESHRE), the World Health Organization, peer-reviewed research, or an official price list. Sources are listed at the bottom of each guide.
- Prices are checked, dated and marked indicative. We record the date we last verified each figure. Prices change; always confirm with the provider before deciding.
- No pay-to-rank. No clinic, sperm bank or kit vendor can pay to appear higher in a comparison or directory. Where we earn a commission on a link, we say so on the page.
- No individual medical advice. Our guides explain how things generally work. Your doctor or fertility specialist knows your history and should guide your decision.
- Corrections are welcome. If you spot an error or an outdated price, email us and we will fix it, with a note on the page.
How we make money
Running the site costs money and time. We cover it in three transparent ways: affiliate commissions when readers buy an at-home kit or test through our links (at no extra cost to the reader), sales of our own downloadable Sperm Freezing Planner, and, in future, clearly labelled sponsorships. Who we are
SpermFreezing.com is published by an independent publisher based in the Czech Republic with a background in technology and research. We do not employ doctors, and we do not claim to. That is exactly why every claim is sourced, and why we keep telling you to talk to one.
How our content is produced (AI disclosure)
Our guides, data tables and tools are researched and drafted with substantial help from an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic), working from primary sources it retrieves and cites: regulator guidance, peer-reviewed studies and clinic price lists. A human editor sets the scope, checks the sources and approves what is published. We disclose this because you deserve to know how the page in front of you was made, and because it is how we keep prices and rules in 20+ countries up to date. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.
